Tips Merawat Gadget Android

Alhamdulillah masih sempat menulis artikel di sela kesibukan skripsi :D
Memiliki ponsel Android layaknya memiliki komputer dalam genggaman tangan. Selain mampu menyuguhkan fitur yang kaya dan variatif, patut diingat bahwa perawatan juga diperlukan agar ponsel Android dapat bekerja secara maksimal, tidak lelet dan tidak terjangkit virus. Jika pengguna tidak merawat ponsel dengan baik, maka jangan heran bila perangkat tersebut akan jadi lambat dan kurang responsif. Untuk merawat agar ponsel Android tetap dalam kondisi yang maksimal dan performa yang baik, berikut ini beberapa tips dari saia :D

Hapus / Kosongkan Cache
Cache merupakan log aktivitas aplikasi yang dijalankan, yang kalau dibiarkan menumpuk maka akan membuat RAM menjadi penuh sehingga kinerja ponsel menjadi lemot. Hal terbaik adalah melakukan penghapusan cache. Caranya masuk ke menu Setting – Applications. Di dalam menu tersebut akan ada pilihan Manage Applications, yang jika dibuka akan terlihat aplikasi yang sudah diinstal. Hapuslah cache dari aplikasi yang diinginkan. Penghapusan Cache ini tidak akan menghapus data-data yang ada di ponsel Android.
Aplikasi clear cache dapat juga kalian cari di Android market seperti Cache Cleaner, 1Tap Cleaner, dll.

Hapus/Uninstal Aplikasi yang Kurang Perlu
Sama halnya dengan komputer, menginstal banyak aplikasi akan mempengaruhi kecepatan kerja ponsel. Maka ada baiknya bila pengguna bisa selektif dalam meilih aplikasi yang akan dipasang. Pilih Aplikasi yang benar-benar dibutuhkan, dan hapus aplikasi yang sekiranya tidak menunjang produktivitas. Caranya masuk ke menu Setting – Applications – Manage Applications, dan pilih aplikasi mana yang akan dihapus.

Manfaatkan Task Manager
Seperti halnya pada komputer, terkadang di ponsel Android terdapat aplikasi yang lag/hang, nah untuk “mematikan” aplikasi yang sedang berjalan, pengguna membutuhkan aplikasi Task Kill Manager atau aplikasi sejenisnya. Aplikasi yang berfungsi layaknya Windows Task Manager pada perangkat komputer ini bisa diperoleh secara gratis di Google Play Store.

Rooting
Rooting berarti pengguna memperoleh akses sepenuhnya terhadap semua system dalam ponsel Android miliknya. Tips ini memungkinkan pengguna ponsel untuk menghapus aplikasi bawaan vendor, dan melakukan upgrade tanpa harus menunggu persetujuan vendor. Dengan begitu performa ponsel akan lebih fresh dan kencang.
*Catatan: yang perlu diingat, ketika Anda melakukan rooting, berarti garansi tidak akan berlaku lagi.

Memasang Antivirus
Android merupakan salah satu smartphone yang rentan terhadap serangan virus, terutama malware. Untuk itu, akan lebih baik jika Anda memasang antivirus Android sebagai langkah untuk melindungi Android Anda dari serangan virus yang berbahaya. Untuk memasang antivirus Android, Anda tidak harus membeli aplikasi antivirus berbayar. Cukup dengan aplikasi gratis Anda juga akan mendapatkan proteksi yang tidak kalah hebatnya.
